Last Saturday we finally looked at the Lake Naivasha. Approx. 2 hours drive from Nairobi lies this lake also in the Rift Valley. To see there are a lot of birds, hippos and other animals. for example, there are the storks, as I prefer to spend the winter in warmer climes. The ride to the same place is not a problem. The roads up to that quite well. At the lake itself, it looks a little worse. Only extremely dusty dirt roads. If 20 meters in front of a driving a vehicle, the visibility is through the accumulated dust is barely 5 feet. I've sampled so careful. First stop was at the Naivasha Counrty Club. Could enter the low for a fee. From there we then rented a boat around the lake to look at us. The water is about waist high. There are only a few points lower. Large parts of the lake are covered with plants (see photo above). These animals seem to taste pretty good.
