Lucky
Thursday was my last day in Melbourne. Every morning at 8 low. Up to 10 clock vacate the apartment and I need the flight is late at night. So I bring a suitcase in a locker in the Southern Cross station just around the corner. Then back to the apartment. The remaining items in the backpack. At the reception call, which is located in another district. The bill was already in the room the night before. I say this only modest, that I will be the key in the room. Then for breakfast.
Since there is nothing in the apartment and I do not want to own, I go every morning into a small cafe, which is on the way to the office. Of these, there are plenty. The mornings are also well filled. The open 6am until the afternoon. Saturdays and Sundays are all closed. The staff from the offices hollow where her morning coffee or some breakfast, in Australia, "Brekkie" called, lunch or afternoon drink a coffee. I was in the shop by now well known and got my breakfast every morning with a $ 3 discount. A large coffee, a croissant and a sandwich (a bigger sandwich).
Then on the last day in office. My work here was done practically yesterday. But just in case there were problems or one or the other question I was still spend a day there. However, there was not much. In the afternoon, around 17:00 clock, I noticed suddenly that my jacket is missing. Manure. I must have forgotten the morning, five floors below where I was first, before I in my 16th place Story went. Our colleagues there were a few questions and I am gone out from breakfast right there. I am in the 11th Floor and I looked up. Since she was not. I have to have probably forgotten the morning in the café. What a bummer. To make the afternoon. The jacket would get over themselves to. The 10 euros in your pocket too. But also there were still driving license and bank card. The credit card I had to plug in luck. So I rushed down there and sure enough all dark. Shut the door! I cast a glance through the window. Suddenly my side: "Ej man!". I turn around. It says the guy from the café in front of me: "You forgot you this morning jacket" (you have your jacket today, forget tomorrow). He sat with a friend in the cafe and drank a beer. I said, well I'm lucky. Today is my last day in Melbourne. Was a crap was the thing to leave here.
So again lucky. A few minutes later he was gone. I then got my stuff out of the office and sat down on the South Bank a bit in the sun before I fly home to Germany at the deep antrete. In the evening I still have some pictures of the fire show in the Crown Casino. With so much luck on the day, I should probably go in and play?
