Sculpture at Hotel

As I had written earlier, I was once again last weekend in Bali. Saturday morning on the plane from Jakarta. 2 hours later arrived in Bali. Air Asia has a brand new terminal in Jakarta. Makes a very good impression. The hotel I had booked the night before by HRS.

I'm in my last post already mentioned: It is quiet in Nusa Dua. Far from the noisy and riots "Bravo" Kuta Beach. After I kidnap the Yemen, and had survived with Jakarta bombing, I was sure: nothing more can happen to me. I was now quite brave. I've rented a scooter to jet across the island. Am this morning once again flown to Bali. This time I chose a resort in Nusa Dua. Royal Bali. $ 80 per night in a cottage. Beautiful, quiet resort with private beach. Very quiet. Not the chaos and noise of Kuta Beach. Also the water is cleaner. Highly recommended.

It's just here in the news. This morning local time, it has again been two bomb attacks in Jakarta. One of the Marriott Hotel, the other at the Ritz Carlton, which is located in close proximity. Presumably, these are "effects" of which took place in the last week of presidential elections in which the conservative Muslims, just as in the spring's parliamentary elections, have lost very much.

According to latest reports, it should have been at least six deaths.
