Nondeterministic

October 7

I have to report about an interesting experience last night. This hotel has rooms in a central control unit for TV, radio, air conditioning and lighting (see photo). It is on the table beside the bed. Apart from the fact that the operation is basically impossible, because you can only read the label when in brightly lit room kneeling directly in front, the thing has a very interesting behavior. If you try to turn off the light, made it very interesting effects. Essentially, it does not matter which pressed the buttons to operate the light one. There is always something else. I press a button, the overhead light goes out. I hit another, the ceiling light comes on again. I press again the first, the wall light comes on. I try a third, the ceiling light goes off again. Funny! Sometime I get behind, it is probably easiest to push as long as one and the same button until eventually, the timing could not have chosen at random, all the lights are off. But would probably work even if I had pressed random keys. But I had no time to try it. It has now become bright again.
